My not so lazy Sunday Morning

It has been one of those days already. The kids were being typical...playing nicely with some intervention, until I decided to get on the computer to buy Circus tickets. They immediately needed all my attention, so I set Brynn up with crayons or "crowns" as she calls them and a coloring book in the study. I got Kaden set up with a computer game on the lap top. I'm thinking to myself. Ok, I have a good five minutes to order......I get to the Ticketmaster page to order them, look at the seats offered and I want different seats, so I start the process over to get new seats. Then I noticed Brynn drawing on the windows with "crowns." I had just finished cleaning of the lovely artwork from a few days ago. I got sidetracked with snacks, dishes, laundry, whatever else I take care of every day and find my way back to the computer. This time I put on a short cartoon. I click away happily as there are no interruptions. Great seats! I can't wait to take the kids! I'm printing the tickets. Task completed! As I put them in a safe place away from crayons, markers, scissors I decide to look over the tickets. Oh, dear. I ordered them for the 7:30 show and not the 1:30 show. I guess I read it so quickly that the 7 and 1 looked the same. Maybe I need to get my eyes checked? All of you know me and my strict bedtime routine. Brynn is always in bed by 7 and Kaden by 7:30. Then I proceed to look for an exchange or refund and even call Ticketmaster and can't get a live voice. The cartoon is over and I feel defeated. The kids are going crazy and I can't spend all morning fixing this.....I email Dean at work "I'm an idiot." My lovely husband got the info and took care of it for us on his break. Now we can go to the Circus at 1:30 and have fun. I don't have to worry about bedtimes or whining children because I didn't see the difference between a 1 or a 7. Thank you Dean!

YEAY Dean!!!! I can totally relate. I booked Thanksgiving tickets for the wrong day once and we didn't find out until we were at the airport! And that was before kids!
