Kaden Andrew

There are too many "funny" things Kaden says to write down, but here are a few of my recent favorites......

As we left the pool one evening, he saw a plastic bottle in the parking lot. "Uh-Oh. That's not good. Somebody littered." I said "Let's pick it up and recycle it at home." Kaden is really into garbage trucks, recycling trucks and trash and recycling in general. He thought this was a good idea and said "We're going to save the world." How sweet and if it were only that easy! Then, "We have to take care of our Earf (earth)." I am happy to raise an enviro friendly child!

At the library there was a book called something like Edwina, The Dinosaur that Doesn't Know She is Extinct. Before we even got to read it, he said "P-U. That poor dinosaur stinks! She needs a bath." ( I don't know how to spell P-U. Is it p- you or pee you? Things that make you go hmmmm)

He was in a particular mood one day, so I sent him outside to play. He was putting some toys in his Arctic Cat (jeep), cleaning up the outside play area and ran inside to tell me with a great smile on his face, "Mom, I'm cleaning up for God." I am glad some of these lessons are sinking in!

Kaden loves his new cousin Zachary Pierce. He is very interested in giving him big people food. He thought "Let's go catch a fish. We need to go to Lake Conroe and catch a fish. Then we can cook it and give it to Zachary. He will like it." It's a good thing Zachary just started his rice cereal. Kaden has a whole menu planned for him when he gets older.
