Cooper

We love our Cooper dog.  He is the best dog for our family, hair and all.  He is gentle and patient with the kids.  He is faithful and sweet. He had a tumor on his lip that grew quickly a few weeks ago and the vet said he needed it taken off.  We took him in last friday for his procedure that included sedation, stitches and recovery.  Before picture:

He was out of sorts when he came home and couldn't settle down for several hours, but he bounced back the next day.  He looked "normal."  I came back one day after running errands with the kids and saw that Cooper had licked or clawed at his stitches apart by his nose.   Now he is going to heal with more of a cleft lip.   Here is what he needs to wear when unsupervised the next several days:

He does not like his collar, but Dean does........

Cooper's results came back and it is not cancerous, so we are happy.  And thankful to have our Cooper .
