Life

Another week has gone by in the blink of an eye. Kaden loves his new school and has adjusted well. Kade did decide to bring his lovey, Bear, to school for rest time and he has been carrying him around the house more than I've seen in a year. It made me realize that as grown up as he is that my little man needs some reassurance at times. It brought back all of those memories of when he was a baby and Bear went everywhere with us. I am so proud of how he is doing. He is responsible for putting away his snack, lunch, backpack, water bottle, and folder everyday at school. He is making great friends too and just beaming from ear to ear. It brings such joy to Dean and I to see him so happy.

We had a family outing on Tuesday at the Main Event to go bowling. I forgot the camera, but the looks on their faces were priceless. Brynn squealed and shouted with delight as she knocked the pins over with her ball. Kaden liked knocking the pins over the first few times, but quickly became fascinated with the ball return machine (or whatever you call it). He would bowl and then run back to the machine to wait for the ball to come back. He didn't even watch to see how many pins he knocked over. That's our boy! Always fascinated with how things work.....

I have attempted potty training with Brynn a few times and I thought we finally made progress this week. She walked over to the potty on her own and actually did it! Granted she had gone a little in her pull-up before hand, but she figured out that the rest belonged in the potty. Well, it hasn't happened since Wednesday. She will willingly sit down a few times each day, but after her 4th time she is done and saying "no more potty." This might have something to do with her strong willed personality (see previous post).............
