Growing up, Tait and I never got to have slurpys from 7-11 or Icees. Our mom, now a Mimi, just would not give in to the begging. Now I know why she wouldn't let us.... the sugar, the red dye and who knows what else is in it. I felt the need for my children to experience the wonderful world of Icees on our trip to Kemah and Galveston in April. They enjoyed them. Don't worry Mimi, they didn't finish the whole thing!
